Mi sento fortunato -- I feel lucky

When we feel depressed, we often go for shopping therapy: shopping, shopping, shopping, without thinking too much about it. And we often go back home with a mountain of useless stuff, clothes we will never wear and so on...How many times had it happened? Surely, many times? Shopping is therapeutical, they say.
Yes, it is. But: the more one buys, the more one spends, the higher the gain in happiness?Nope, the relation is not directly proportional, as we all well know.

In the first days of the year, though, in Japan it is possible o combine enjoyment and usefulness, it is possible to spend little to get a lot by buying the so called 'lucky bags': sellers dump into a more or less big bag the leftovers of the season's unsold stuff, make up, clothes, accessories. And prices are really really competitive.

My favorite lucky bag is the one with make up. With just 2000 yen (about 20 bucks) I get a revlon or a rimmel bag with lots of great stuff in it, which normally would costs between 1500yen and 2500yen per item!!!This is a clear example of a rational use of money, with a high personal satisfaction impact factor.

Then I had an idea: going back to the story of not throwing away things that we don't use anymore but are still in a good condition, I decided that I'll put all of them in a few bags, I seal them, I put a nice "take freely" label and I hope someone will feel lucky enough to get a good one! So far I have given for free all the books I have read, but, actually, why not doing it for other stuff as well?
