Dunque, cosa è accaduto in questo 2010 quasi concluso?
Scienza, salute e tecnologia: l'inaugurazione dell'edificio più alto del mondo a Dubai, il progetto del genoma dell'uomo di Neanderthal, l'influenza pandemica H1N1, gli scienziati che catturano l'antimateria.
Fenomeni naturali: il terremoto a Haiti, l'eclisse anulare di sole più lunga, il terremoto in Cile, il terremoto in Cina, l'eruzione del vulcano in Islanda che ha paralizzato gli aeroporti europei, l'incidente in miniera in Cile, terremoti e tsunami in Indonesia assieme alle eruzioni vulcaniche, eclisse totale di luna, il disastro petrolifero sulle coste della Carolina.
Politica:rivolte in Corea del nord, in Tailandia, in Africa, crisi finanziaria in Portogallo, Irlanda e Grecia, tensioni tra le due Coree, wikileaks. Più la stupidità del presidente dell'Italia che davvero non vale la pena di essere citata, ricordata, discussa. Che pagliaccio!!!E' tutto ciò che ho da dire.
Beh, questo è solo un piccolo riassunto di quello che è successo quest'anno. Incredibile quanti terremoti sono successi....anche in Giappone ne abbiamo sentito alcuni, ma nessuno mai li ricorda perchè solitamente la perdita in vite umane è ridicola e i danni sono molto limitati.

Quindi, si, per la maggiore un anno segnato da catastrofi naturali, come se tutti i 5 elementi si fossero segretamente messi d'accordo per agire all'unisono e debellare il genere umano. Il pianeta ha in effetti ragione a ribellarsi così contro chi continua a rovinarlo, alla faccia delle iniziative 'verdi' e degli appelli a salvare il pianeta.

E' anche stato l'anno dei social networks, con in testa la creatura di Zuckerberg. Milioni di utenti sentono l'urgenza di iscriversi e essere attivi nel network, a volte preferendo questo mondo virtuale al mondo reale, forzando tutti a iscriversi, manifestando una sorta di dipendenza che può essere paragonata alla dipendenza dal droghe. Il fenomeno è così grande che è stato prodotto anche un film a esso ispirato. Per restare ancora in ambito tecnologico, come non menzionare il boom di iPhone e iPad? Per lo meno la Apple è risorta in Giappone con questi prodotti.

Che attività vi stanno tenendo occupati negli ultimi giorni del 2010?
In questi giorni io sto pulendo casa, faccio spazio, metto via tutto quello che ho usato raramente o per nulla, ho tagliato i capelli, sto riducendo il mio guardaroba mettendo da parte quello che non ho indossato per tanto tempo e mi assicuro che verrà spedito a casa. No, non butto via le cose.....è proprio un peccato!E non è eco-friendly. Quindi troverò un nuovo uso a quelle cose che per adesso non utilizzo.
Penso anche a tutte le persone che o incontrato, quelli che hanno reso i miei giorni più belli, quelli che hanno reso i miei giorni più brutti, quelli che ho incontrato causalmente, quelli che sono diventati nuovi amici, quelli che, anche lontani, si ricordano di me.

Cosa è successo nelle vostre vite quest'anno? Cosa è cambiato?Il 2010 è stato un anno con grossi cambi di direzione o è semplicemente stato un altro anno?E' stato più divertente o più noioso?E' stato soddisfacente o avreste voluto di più?
Il prossimo anno sarà un anno dispari, numericamente parlando, e io non amo i numeri dispari. Quindi, per prima cosa incrocio le dita. Sarà anche l'anno del mio 30° anno su questa terra, e tale pensiero ha già il suo peso.

Quali sono le risoluzioni di fine anno a cui sto pensando...
...sarebbe bello se riuscissi a riprendere col giapponese....molte delle frustrazioni giornaliere scomparirebbero.
...fare più sport. Si si ballare brucia un sacco, ma ho bisogno di molto altro per prendermi cura del mio corpo che invecchia.
...viaggiare di più e visitare tutte le persone che mi mancano :)

So, what happened in this nearly-over year 2010?
Science, health and technology: The opening of the tallest man-made building in Dubai, the Neanderthal genome project, the H1N1 pandemic influenza, scientists trapped the antimatter.
Natural phenomena: the earthquake in Haiti, the longest annular solar eclipse, the earthquake in Chile, the earthquake in China, the troublesome eruption of the volcano in Iceland paralyzing the European airports, the mining accident in Chile, earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia plus the volcanic eruptions, total lunar eclipse, the oil disaster off the coasts of Carolina.
Politics: revolts in North Korea, in Thailand, in Africa, financial cracks of Portugal, Ireland and Greece, tensions between the two Koreas, Wikileaks. Plus, the stupidity of the Italian President which is really not worth to be cited, remembered, discussed. What a clown!!!That's all I am going to say.

Well, that's just a short summary of what happened in the world in this year. It's amazing how many earthquakes happened...in Japan too, we felt some strong ones, but no-one ever remembers them because usually the loss in human lives is ridiculous and the damages are very limited.
So, yes, mostly a year marked by natural catastrophes, as if all the 5 elements agreed upon a secret meeting to act together to get rid of the human race. The planet is actually right to rebel this way against who is continuously and increasingly ruining it, in the face of all the 'green' initiatives and save-the-planet appeals.

It has also been the year of the social networks, with Zuckerberg's digital creature on top of the list. Millions of users have the urge to join and be active in the social network, at times preferring this virtual world to the real world, forcing everybody to join it, manifesting a sort of dependency that can be compared to drugs addiction. The phenomenon is so big that even a movie was inspired by it. Remaining into the technology spot, how not to cite the iPhone/iPad boom? At least here in Japan the Apple made it with its products.

What are the activities that are keeping you busy in these last days of 2010?
What I am doing in these days is cleaning, making room, getting rid of all items I have rarely used or haven't used at all, I shortened my hair, I am shrinking my wardrobe putting aside what I haven't worn for long and make sure it will be sent back home soon. Nope, not throwing away stuff...it's such a pity! And it is not eco-friendly. So, I will find a new use for the things I don't use here now.
I have also been thinking of all the people I have met, the ones who made my days better, the ones who made my days worse, the ones who I happen to meet randomly, the ones who became new friends, the ones who, even far away, still remember me.

What happened in your lives in this year? What changed? Was 2010 the year of a big change of directions or was it just another year? Was it more fun or more boring? was it satisfactory or would you have asked for more?
Next year is going to be an odd year, numerically speaking, and I am not fond of odd numbers. So, first of all I cross my fingers. Also, it'll be the year of my 30th year on Earth, and that thought has got its own heavy weight already.

What year-end resolutions do I think of...
...it'd be nice if I'd put myself to pick up again Japanese.....lots of daily frustrations would disappear.
...do more sports. Yes, dancing burns a lot, but still, I need to take more care of my aging body.
...traveling more and visit all the people I miss :)
