Oggi e’ stato davvero il mio giorno fortunato: vado al negozio di roba di seconda mano, a 10 minuti da casa, e per la sola cifra di circa 300 euro mi consegnano a casa, nel pomeriggio, i seguenti item: frigorifero toshiba blu, lavatrice LG vecchietta ma perfettamente funzionante, fornetto combinato con microonde (almeno mi pare...), tavolo stile giapponese legno scuro smaltato, mobiletto in metallo con 3 mensole in vetro, lampada metallo e vetro blu, cassettiera nera, fornelli e poltrona.
Mi considero soddisfatta degli acquisti fatti. E ora dopo una giornata trascorsa a fare la trottola e poi a pulire e sistemare tutto, provare gli elettrodomestici,sono tranquilla e beata sul mio sofa a guardare fuori dalla finestra. Da quassu’ la vista lascia senza parole, sebbene non come trovarsi al distretto dei grattacieli di Shinjuku al centro di Tokyo....e inoltre c’e’ una piacevole arietta fresca, non so se dovuta all'altezza o al clima di questi giorni...certo ‘ che in giro per le strade non si sta cosi’ bene come qui adesso!!!!
La cittadina di Tsurumi non e’ male, offre abbastanza svaghi e comodita’, negozi abbordabili, ristoranti dove mangi bene senza spendere un patrimonio, parchi, alcuni grandi centri commerciali. Inoltre ferve di attivita’, per esempio ho avuto modo di notare che ogni domenica allestiscono un palco nella piazzetta della zona ovest della stazione dove si esibiscono ragazzi e ragazze, chi con la propria band musicale, chi danza, chi canta nel coro, eccetera. Cose sempre molto stuzzicanti che spingono a trascorrere la giornata all'aria aperta o sotto il sole....sono sicura che mi trovero’ bene in questo posto! E se poi, proprio non dovessi gradire, la stazione piu’ vicina, kawasaki, offre tutto cio’ che potrei desiderare!!!

Sunday evening of a hot summer season…finally I can say I feel home now that I have a fully furnished apartment, it feels good.
Today it was my lucky day: I went to the recycle shop, a mere 10 minutes walk from where I live, and with just about 300 euro I got delivered, in the same afternoon, the following: toshiba blue fridge, an old but perfectly working LG washing machine, combined microwave oven, low dark lacquered table, iron framed glass shelves, standing lamp also blue, drawers for the bedroom, kitchen stovetop and a sofa chair.
I am satisfied of my shopping. Now, after a day spent running around, cleaning and arranging everything, trying the appliances I am chilling on my sofa chair while watching out the window. The view from up here is not bad, although it is not as impressive as being in the skyscrapers districts in Shinjuku…there is also a nice breeze, not sure whether it is because of the height or the weather these days. In any case, down on the streets is not as pleasant as up here!
Tsunami city doesn’t seem so bad, it offers a lot of things, shops, restaurant for which I don’t need to break the bank, some malls. Also, there are always events going on. For instance, every Sunday on the west side of the station there’s some sort of performance by school kids. That motivates to spend the day out in the open…I am sure I’ll be alright here. And should I really not like it there, Kawasaki city is just a train ride away.
